面對福音做出抉擇
【福音:路四21-30】
21耶穌便開始對他們說:「你們剛才聽過的這段聖經,今天應驗了。」22眾人都稱讚他,驚奇他口中所說的動聽的話;並且說:「這不是若瑟的兒子嗎?」23他回答他們說:「你們必定要對我說這句俗語:醫生,醫治你自己罷!我們聽說你在葛法翁所行的一切,也在你的家鄉這裡行罷!」24他又說:「我實在告訴你們:沒有一個先知在本鄉受悅納的。25我據實告訴你們:在厄里亞時代,天閉塞了三年零六個月,遍地起了大饑荒,在以色列原有許多寡婦,26厄里亞並沒有被派到她們中一個那裡去,而只到了漆冬匝爾法特的一個寡婦那裡。27在厄里叟先知時代,在以色列有許多癩病人,他們中沒有一個得潔淨的,只有敘利亞的納阿曼。」28在會堂中聽見這話的人,都忿怒填胸,29起來把他趕出城外,領他到了山崖上──他們的城是建在山上的──要把他推下去。30他卻由他們中間過去走了。
經文脈絡
基督徒團體在上個主日的感恩禮中,聆聽耶穌在自己的家鄉納匝肋首次宣講的情形(路四16-20),這個主日的福音繼續報導這個宣講的後續發展(21-30):耶穌在安息日於納匝肋會堂中宣講之後,群眾們對耶穌的反應以及耶穌面對群眾所做出的回應。
緊張生動的敘述
整個敘述充滿戲劇性的緊張氣氛,一連串的衝突彼此接續地發生。由上個主日的福音我們看見:耶穌在祂的故鄉如何自處?祂誦讀了哪一段聖經章節?祂如何詮釋自己所宣讀的聖經?在今天的福音中我們將繼續發現:聽眾們對祂的教導做出什麼反應?耶穌如何回應?如何安然度過群眾們由憤怒而產生的危機?
群眾的稱讚與質疑
耶穌的宣講在群眾當中引起了非常大的讚賞:「眾人都稱讚他,驚奇他口中所說的動聽的話。」然而在此同時,聽眾們也提出祂的出生家世,並自以為認識耶穌:「這不是若瑟的兒子嗎?」這句問話的本身意義並不明顯,必須由耶穌的回應才能明白。耶穌以先知說話的方式,運用一個古老的俗語:「醫生,醫治你自己吧!」表明祂知道群眾心中的願望:他們希望耶穌在自己的家鄉也行奇蹟,就有如祂在葛法翁所做的一樣(23)。這段經文預設了耶穌在葛法翁行過許多奇蹟(具體的例子在稍後的經文才提到;參閱:路四31-41),引起群眾的好奇心,並質疑這一切的真實性。耶穌的話展現祂具有「視透人心」的能力,顯示出祂和舊約中「認識人心」的上主一樣。
阿們!
耶穌接著以非常隆重的方式說出另一段談話,藉以回應家鄉群眾的要求。我們在四部福音中,都多次看見耶穌以「我實在告訴你們」的語句展開一段談話,這句話的原文就是簡單的「阿們」!是猶太人為了強調說出某些言論時常用的開頭語。
耶穌的指責
耶穌運用了群眾們熟知的先知厄里亞(列上十七8-16)和厄里叟(列下五1-27)的故事,說明三重的事實:首先,祂將自己列於先知的行列之中;其次,耶穌揭露了群眾們要求奇蹟,並非由於相信天主的能力在祂的身上出現,而只為滿足自己的好奇心;最後,這些聖經例子也說明,外邦人比猶太人更先得到天主的救助。納匝肋的群眾瞭解,耶穌指責他們和祖先一樣不尊敬先知,斷定他們必將因此遭到和祖先們相同的命運,被拒於天國之外,同時眼睜睜地看見外邦人得到救恩(參閱:宗十三46;二八28)。
結果
耶穌這些指責家鄉群眾的話,本來也能是邀請他們悔改的召叫;但是他們沒有明白,卻因此而感到憤怒填胸,並因此而「起來把耶穌趕出城外」,想要把祂從山崖上推下而殺死祂(29)。對於這個情形有狹義和廣義兩種瞭解方式,首先如果我們只注意今天的福音經文,這個描寫便只是生動的表達出群眾憤怒的程度;但是我們也可以廣義地在整部福音敘述框架中來瞭解,那麼這個「謀殺」耶穌的行動事實上已經預先暗示了,耶穌將在耶路撒冷城外被釘死在十字架上的情景。
「時辰」未到
群眾們的暴行並未成功,耶穌「由他們中間過去走了」(30)。這個情景近乎一個「奇蹟」;我們在上述的廣義的脈絡之下,便可瞭解耶穌在此沒受到傷害有其更深刻的意義,這是表達耶穌死亡的時間還沒有來到,祂還得繼續執行天父給祂的使命,宣講天國喜訊。
綜合反省
這個主日和上個主日的福音敘述是一個整體。路加透過高明的敘述技巧,透過整段報導達到他寫作的目的:一方面向讀者們介紹耶穌的派遣、祂的宣講如何得到群眾的讚賞、以及祂又如何遭受家鄉群眾的拒絕;另一方面也邀請讀者在這兩種態度中做出自己的抉擇。
整段經文大概也相當程度地反應出歷史情況:耶穌對於自己身份和使命的認知(比較:谷一15)、在執行天父派遣時遭受到同胞的拒絕排斥、透過先知們的命運來解釋這些真實的情況…最後則是死亡復活後的反響,也就是外邦人得到救恩。
這種表達形式也直接的對今日的讀者發言,邀請大家面對耶穌獨特的訴求,而深刻地反省:雖然耶穌家鄉的人拒絕了耶穌,但是祂事實上就是舊約預言的、被上主之神所傅抹的、來向一切貧窮弱小者宣報救援喜訊的那一位。今日的讀者和當年耶穌家鄉同胞一樣,必須面對耶穌的訊息做出決定:懷著信德接受或者是加以拒絕。

新年到了,所謂年年難過年年過,當一些大企業在比較誰年終獲利最多、給的年終獎金最多時,有許多店家悄悄地結束營業,一家家店舖關閉,疫情影響幾家歡樂幾家愁,對小本經營的店家是難過的一年。
而今,疫情又起,大家都擔心再度封城,社福機構更如坐雲霄飛車,又不准探視,又怕有人染疫或連坐,工作人員的辛勞有誰知?靠活動籌募資金,活動一個一個被迫停止,籌不到經費也是心驚膽跳??
我們身在其中也不例外,一項長期、定期的人事補助經費50萬,突然被通知停止補助,只好凍結人事,人手不夠也不敢再徵人,工作夥伴們分擔更多的工作,但為了孩子不畏疫情,就這麼在愛心、希望與信心中撐過!
年終,承蒙大家的支持,募款總算是暫時平安順利,讓我們能再忙碌地採購年貨,喜樂地送到孩子手上,幫他們過一個快樂溫馨的年!感恩你們!
「孕育人生」的?案,雖然募資平台作業尚未完成結算,但我們已積極在推動,預計至少能幫8到10位小媽媽小爸爸及孩子們,希望能在教育及陪伴中,協助改善他們的人生!
生活不是一時的,希望大家繼續、長期的,為我們及青少年們祈禱、支持與贊助,謝謝!

First and foremost, I would like to thank YOU, our volunteers, staff, priests, deacons, and parishioners, for your great spirit of teamwork, devotion and faith. Your hard work and engagement from decorating to proclaiming the Word, truly contributed to a very holy and beautiful year of grace. The year of 2022 promises to be even more exciting with the anniversary of the Mission, Divine renovation, and pastoral initiatives which call for even greater collaboration and support from all of us. Together we will enter a new year of grace and opportunities with faith in the Lord who inspires and completes the Mission he has entrusted to us.
This weekend we celebrate The Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, The Epiphany of the Lord, and the beginning of our year-long commemoration of Mission San Jose's 225th Anniversary! I can't think of any better way to welcome 2022. Happy New Year!
During the entirety of 2022 we pay special tribute to the people whose lives shaped our rich heritage starting with the Franciscan missionaries who sowed the seeds of Christian faith that has endured for nearly 225 years. Please join us January 5 as we celebrate our First Wednesday of the Month Devotion to Saint Joseph with Mass in the Mission at 7:00 PM. This celebration is bi-lingual and we partner with our brothers and sisters from the Spanish/Latino Community in Word and song. We hope to see you there.

誦讀二 選讀聖良大教宗講道集
(上主在全世界顯示了祂的救恩)
天主仁慈的上智曾決意在此世的末期,拯救那處於淪亡之途的世界。祂便決定在基督身上去拯救萬民。
關於拯救萬民的事,天主在古代曾應許古聖祖亞巴郎,要賞給他無數子孫。這些子孫不是生於肉體,而是藉信德而生。因此他們可比作眾多的星辰。因為這萬民之父所應希望的不是地上的後裔,而是來自天上的。
但願天下萬民都進入古聖祖的家庭。也願那預許的子孫在亞巴郎的後裔身上領取祝福,這祝福曾被他肉性方面的子孫所擯棄。但願普世萬民在三賢士的代表下,朝拜宇宙的造主。但願天地的創造者不但在猶太,而且在全球各地為人共知,到處彰顯祂偉大的聖名,一如在以色列。
親愛的諸位,我們既已知天主恩寵的這些奧蹟,讓我們歡欣慶祝我們開始得救、萬民蒙召的良辰,感謝天主的仁慈。誠如保祿宗徒所說的:「我們要欣然感謝那使我們有資格,在光明中分享聖徒福份的天父,因為是祂由黑暗的權勢下救出了我們,並將我們移置在祂愛子的國內。」因為一如依撤意亞先知所說:「在黑暗中行走的百姓,看見了一道皓光,光輝已射在那寄居在漆黑之地的人們身上。」他又論及萬民向上主說:「看哪!那不曾認識祢的民族,將呼求祢;那不曾認識祢的百姓,也要奔向祢。」
從前亞巴郎曾見到這個日子而歡欣不已:他知道了那一天,他信德的子孫將因他的後裔、基督,蒙受祝福,他也預見那一天他由於信德將成為萬民之父;「他就光榮天主,且堅信天主所應許的,也必能完成。」
達味在聖詠裡,也歌詠這個日子說:「上主,祢創造的萬民齊來欽崇,歌頌讚揚祢的聖名。」又說:「上主宣佈了祂的救恩,將祂的正義顯示給萬民。」
我們確實知道,當三位賢士隨著異星的引導,從遠方而來、承認並朝拜天地的君王時,以上所說的就已經實現了。這顆星也請我們效法它服從的榜樣,並竭盡所能,為那吸引眾人來投奔基督的恩寵服務。
親愛的諸位,在這種服務工作上,你們該彼此幫助,使你們藉信德及善工能抵達天國,並在天國中作為光明之子、射出燦爛的光輝;這是靠我們的主耶穌基督,祂和父及聖神,永生永王。阿們。
