This weekend we celebrate EASTER V.   As we journey through the last days of Easter we prepare for the ascent of Jesus into heaven.  Jesus gives us the command to love one another.

Mark your calendars and save the dates June 11 & 12 for The Founders Day Festival celebrating the 225th Anniversary of Mission San Jose.  Please click here for more details.  We have many special liturgies planned for this weekend.  Please click here for the list of special liturgical events.

You are invited to attend an Open House at Ministry House II after each morning and afternoon Mass today to see our newly remodeled facility which will serve as our parish office.  Please join us!  ***Please note we will not be open after the 7:00 PM Mass tonight.

Please join us for a Marian Celebration/Flores de Mayo on Saturday, May 21, in honor of our Blessed Mother.  This event is hosted by our Filipino Community.  The rosary procession begins at 9:00 AM on the steps of the old Mission and is followed by mass at 10:00 AM in the Mission. 本團體遵從羅馬天主教會美國奧克蘭教區費利蒙聖若瑟天主堂主任神父之督導，以梵蒂岡第二屆大公會議〝教友傳教法令〞之精神，提供華人牧靈與福傳服務。

• 宗旨：

執行本堂主任神父交代事宜，全力配合參與堂區各項活動。

提高教友靈修熱忱，共度虔誠信仰生活。

發揮教友和諧互助精神，以團體工作為己任，共同建立愛德之團體。

以基督精神關懷社區，促使教友負起愛德福傳之責任與使命。

本團體隸屬美國奧克蘭教區費利蒙聖若瑟天主堂，受該堂主任神父督導。

• 團體成員

凡教友及慕道友經由聖若瑟天主堂登記註冊，即為本團體成員。

• 團體財物

  凡歸屬於本團體財物:

收入：凡經由捐贈所得之財物。

支出：凡經傳協會同意，符合本團體精神及宗旨之財物支付。

• 傳教協進會（傳協會）組織

聖若瑟天主堂華人團體之運作，由傳教協進會 (傳協會）統籌。傳協會之組織為：

• 傳協會成員為三至五人，責任分擔由傳協會自行協調運作。
• 傳協會成員將由熟悉團體狀況且具服務熱忱教友組成，堂區聯絡人為傳協會成員之一。
• 傳協會成員任期兩年，可連任，無任期限制。

• 傳協會財務管理
• 團體將遵行聖若瑟天主堂主任神父規定:「任何在彌撒中公開向教友募款事宜，需事先經堂區核準」。
• 團體財務一職由傳協會邀請教友擔任，無任期限制。
• 團體所有團體花費及報銷均需傳協會同意，每半年向團體報告當前財務狀況。
• 團體福傳基金帳戶收入和支出暫時委任財務一人負責。若日後頻繁出現現金捐款，傳協會將再行討論。
• 團體授權兩位報銷單簽署人，$5000 元以下一人簽字即可，超過$5000 元需由兩人共同簽署。

• CCCSJ團體會議召開

每兩個月固定由傳協會召開一次，協調與促進各善會工作，並向團體報告決議事項。團體會議必要時可臨時召開。

• 傳協會成員選舉及任職事宜

傳協會成員由團體教友中選出，任期由當年七月一日至後年六月三十日。 任期屆滿由傳協會向團體公開遴選，現任成員可連選，無任期限制。

• 章程之執行修改與監督

組織章程由傳協會執行，團體監督。章程若需修訂，由傳協會自行斟酌處理。

依照天主上智的措施，使聖言降生成人，有福的童貞瑪利亞，自永遠就被預定為天主之母。她在世時，曾做了救贖主的崇高之母，以特殊名義作為祂慷慨的合作者，和上主謙遜的婢女。她懷孕了基督、產生祂、養育祂、在聖殿中將祂獻與聖父，分擔她那死在十字架上的聖子的痛苦，她以無與倫比的方式、在救主的工程上、以服從、信德、望德、熱切的愛德、在人靈內恢復超性的生命上通力合作。因此，她在聖寵的境界中是我們的母親。

瑪利亞的這一母性，在聖寵的計劃實施中的角色，永不休止的繼續存在。自從她在領報時，在信德中給予同意時起，便恒心保持這一同意，一直到十字架下，一直到所有被選者達到永生的圓滿境界時為止。事實上，在她蒙召升天之後，她並沒有放棄這項救世的職責；她繼續以各種轉禱，為我們求得永遠得救的恩惠。

她的母愛使她關懷她聖子的弟兄姊妹們──他們還沒有完成他們的旅程，並生活在危險和憂慮之中──直到引導他們達到幸福的天鄉為止。

因此童貞聖母在教會中，有各種被人呼求的銜頭，如：辯護者、輔助者、救護者、中保等。但是要知道：這對基督唯一中保的尊嚴和效能，並無任何增減。

因為任何受造物，都不能與降生成人的聖言、救贖主等量齊觀。可是，猶如基督的司祭職，以不同的方式由神職人員、或由信友所分享；又如，天主的唯一仁愛，以不同的方式、真實的普及受造物：同樣，救贖主的唯一中保地位，不僅不排除，反而在受造物中促進各種方式的合作，這種方式的合作，都來自唯一的源泉。

教會毫不遲疑的明認瑪利亞這種隸屬性的中保職責，也不斷加以體驗，並昭告信友們，好使他們依恃慈母的助佑，而與我們的中保兼救主，更密切結合。

This weekend we celebrate EASTER IV, also known as Good Shepherd Sunday.  We also share this day with our beautiful mothers.  Happy Mother's Day!

Today is “World Day of Prayer for Vocations.” Each year on this Sunday, we reflect on the image of Jesus as the Good Shepherd who devotedly and kindly takes care of his flock. The title “pastor” means shepherd. A shepherd leads, feeds, nurtures, comforts, corrects, and protects his flock—responsibilities that belong to all Church leaders, parents, civil leaders, and all who are in charge of others.

This weekend we celebrate EASTER III.  Easter is the birth of possibility, recognizing the power of God at work in the world, the power of being part of a community, a Church that Christ put in place to bring us together. We strive to live as Jesus did, serving one another, helping one another, and loving one another.  Accept this challenge daily and help lift others to do the same.

A huge THANK YOU to the Saint Joseph Men's Club and all supporting ministries for bringing the parish community together for The Mission 225 Vaqueros Barbeque, previously known as The Chuck Wagon Barbeque.  A great time was had by all!  We look forward to many more community-building events to come.

Please join us May 4, as we celebrate our First Wednesday of the Month Devotion to Saint Joseph with Mass in the Mission at 7:00 PM.  Our Adult Multi-Cultural Choir provides the sacred music under the leadership of Director of Music Ministries, Ronald E. McKean.  We hope to see you there.

Everyone is invited to attend a special Anointing Mass for the sick and elderly on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Main church.  All are welcome, especially the sick, homebound, and residents of convalescent and group homes.  Come and offer your support and prayers for our community.  Please click here for more details.
