Dear Saint Joseph Family in Christ,

Welcome to Saint Joseph/Old Mission San Jose and our weekly communication newsletter.  I invite you to embrace and share these messages with your family and friends.

Proclaim his marvelous deeds to all the nations.  Psalm 96

This weekend we celebrate the Second Sunday in Ordinary Time.  Saint Paul's letter to the Corinthians teaches us about the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  In John's gospel today, we listen to the story of Jesus' first miracle, the Wedding at Cana.  This recount marks the beginning of His public ministry.  Today's readings focus on newness, the manifestations of the Spirit and God's generosity with the variety of gifts he bestows on each of us.  We are called to acknowledge our gifts and use them for the greater glory of God.

Please join us Saturday, January 15 at the 5:30 PM Mass in the Mission to celebrate the Feast of Santo Nino with our Filipino brothers and sisters.  Please bring your Santo Nino statues for a special blessing.  Don't miss this beautiful cultural, traditional experience.

Please join fellow Catholics and Pro‐Lifers from all over California and beyond as we stand up for the littlest among us at the 18th Annual Walk for Life West Coast in San Francisco on January 22, 2022.  Please click here for more details and how to register.

Saint Joseph School is enrolling for the 2022-2023 school year.  We invite you to join us in person for a private, socially distanced campus tour OR on ZOOM for a Virtual Meet and Greet.  Please consider our award-winning school for the full academic and faith formation of your children.  How we prepare our children today will impact them the rest of their lives.  Please click here for specific details and contact information.  Catholic Schools Week and Mass has been changed to February 27, 2022.  Please visit our website and the school's website for more details.

There will be a special collection next Sunday supporting the Parish Wide Scholarship Fund. Thank you for your generous support.
