Dear Saint Joseph Family in Christ,
Welcome to Saint Joseph/Old Mission San Jose and our weekly communication newsletter. I invite you to embrace and share these messages with your family and friends.
The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with joy. Psalm 126
This weekend we celebrate LENT V. We are reminded of God’s readiness to forgive sin, repair our broken lives, and restore people to His friendship. We are called to extend this same mercy to others and to live as forgiven people, actively seeking reconciliation with God and one another. God’s steadfast love is merciful. He does not condemn us, but rather calls us tenderly to conversion.
I want to personally thank you for the outpouring of generosity and compassion toward our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. Our parish raised in excess of $44,000 for the Ukrainian relief effort. Thank you for your selfless and most generous support.
